Studio Photography Sessions | $395.00
Photography sessions take place at my natural light studio in Elk Grove, California. Currently, I'm able to accommodate groups of up to four people in the studio. All collections include the final images as a digital download. Prints and products are not offered at this time.
Please Note: While all collections include the high resolution digital download of the final gallery for your personal use, I do retain the copyright to all images, and may share them on social media and on my website, and may be used in marketing materials. If you would like to keep ALL the photos private, please add $100 to any package, and you will receive the copyright. If you wish to purchase copyright, it must be done at the time of booking.

What is the best time for maternity photos?
I believe that best time is at around 30-34 weeks as your bump will likely have a beautiful round shape and you’ll still be able to move around into most poses with ease, however this is a matter of personal preference. Some women like to schedule their sessions as early as 28 weeks, or even as late as 36-38 weeks.
What is the best age for newborn photography?
I aim to photograph your baby between 5-15 days old. As I take a limited number of bookings each month, it is important to make a reservation as early as possible – so please contact us once you know your due date.
How long does the session take?
An average photography session takes about an hour, however your baby will not be rushed if they need a little more time. There will be plenty of opportunity for comforting and milk when needed.
Can we have our digital copies?
All collections include your final images as high-resolution digital downloads. I will select the very best photos to be included in your final gallery. Gallery sizes may vary but I guarantee a minimum of 20 images.
When will we get to see the photos?
Producing your beautiful photo gallery will take many hours of work to get them ready for viewing. Please allow approximately 1-2 weeks to view your final gallery.
Where is your studio?
My natural light home studio is located in the Elk Grove, about 15 minutes south of Sacramento.
Do you have maternity outfits?
I have a small collection of lovely gowns for new and expectant moms, however I love to photograph you in outfits you’re comfortable in so please wear what makes you feel best. As part of booking your session you will receive a link to my Digital Welcome Guide to help you decide on appropriate clothing and makeup.
How do we book a session?
If you already know your due date – now is the time to book your session. Please contact me via the inquiries link below. I'd love to hear from you!

Using the "Inquiries" form below, please send me a message indicating the type of session you wish to schedule. If you are inquiring about a maternity or newborn session, please include your baby's due date as well.
Once I receive your inquiry, I'll reply back and we can talk via phone, text, or e-mail - whichever is most convenient for you. We'll discuss all the details, and I'll answer any questions that you might have. We'll look at our calendars and schedule a date and time for your photography session. I'll e-mail your photography session reservation link, where you will sign the photography agreement electronically, and purchase the session retainer in order to secure your booking. Photography sessions can be rescheduled, should baby arrive a little earlier or later than anticipated. Because I work in a natural light studio, the session date/time might also be adjusted for  the most ideal lighting conditions.
Now the fun begins. It's time to prepare for your photography session! You'll notice that most of my clients wear shades of white, ivory, and beige - these colors best compliment the light and airy style that I edit in, and the white walls and curtains in my studio. If you prefer a pop of color in your photos, pastels and muted colors work well too. If you have any questions or need guidance with outfit planning, please let me know - I'm always happy to assist. I do provide newborn swaddles in ivory, blush pink, light gray, and baby blue. I also have a collection of floral and lace headbands for baby girls. You do not have to bring anything for baby. I do have a small, curated collection of flowy, lace maternity and motherhood gowns for moms as well.
For newborns, plan to schedule baby's feeding and diaper change, just before their session so that they're ready to be photographed when they arrive, however we can always make time for a feeding or change if needed during the session. Photography sessions tend to last about 30 minutes for maternity and about 45-60 minutes for newborn, but there is no rush and we will allow baby the time needed for a calm and peaceful photography session.
Approximately one week after your photography session, you'll receive a gallery of the final, edited images. All sessions (except mini sessions) include the full gallery download in high resolution. Photos will be 300ppi with a minimum long edge of 4000px which allows for print sizes up to 16"x24".

In order to protect our loved ones and yours, we have implemented some additional health and safety protocols. All guests over age two must wear a face mask that covers both mouth and nose at all times, when not being photographed.
I will also wear a face mask for the entirety of every studio photography session. All gowns, blankets, and swaddles are washed immediately after each photography session. Equipment and furniture will be sprayed and wiped with disinfectant.
If you or a member of your household have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, have recently tested positive for COVID-19, or are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, you must call to cancel/reschedule your photography session. If I or anyone in my household have been exposed to COVID-19, test positive for COVID-19, or are experiencing any of it's symptoms, I too, will cancel/reschedule your session. I will always make time for you if you need to reschedule your session.
I understand that opinions regarding the COVID-19 pandemic may vary, however these are the protocols I have in place to keep both my family and yours as safe as possible, during this particularly challenging time. If for any reason, you are not able to comply with these safety protocols, I'd be happy to assist you in finding an alternate photographer. I appreciate your understanding.
I'd love to hear from you! Please send a message using the form below, and I'll reply back as soon as possible. If you are inquiring about a maternity or newborn session, please also include your baby's due date. Thank you!
Thank you!
